Heather Whiteman - Travel Professional

I have two interests, in particular, that have been very influential in my travels – history and fine arts

Plus some life-style imports – a love of the sea and sailing, cycling and walking and fine food , wine and music (yes, I am a Taurean!!). These have been the ingredients that have dictated my life and the many travel experiences that I have had.

To name some of my highlights:

• a “Mozart” concert at a Roman amphitheatre at Asbendos (Turkey), not to mention the wonderful old ruins at Perge and Termessos

• The Acropolis

• Mykonos at sunset

• The Rodin Gallery in Paris, plus sitting in a café watching the world go by

• Monet’s gardens at Giverney

• The scent of wild herbs in springtime at Bonifacio, Corsica

• Fiesta time in Barcelona – music and fireworks – tapas – markets - walking the Costa Brava

• The Souks in Oman selling frankincense and gold and camels having the right-of-way

• Elephant trekking in Northern Thailand

• Cherry blossom time in Tokyo at Yoyogi Park

And, yes, I’ve also enjoyed “sitting under a tree” at a tropical paradise – the Iles des Pins (New Caledonia) is perfection to me – and Va’vau in Tonga is another great, especially for sailors.

Closer to home, I’ve also enjoyed a Princess Cruise that visited our Southern Fiordland – absolutely magnificent.

Dear Heather,
Just to say that our travels went mostly smoothly, except for a 24 hour delay in Singapore due to our next plane being struck by lightning on its way to Singapore from Frankfurt! So we had a bit of time to explore the Botanical Gardens, have a bit of sleep, and eat wonderful food, before resuming our journey… We didn’t envy the Lufthansa staff who had to deal with some pretty stroppy people and were under maximum pressure!!
Hope all is well with you. Thanks again for your great help in getting us there and back. The Kosher food was superb, we think we’ll all go that way next time !

-thanks for all your sending through of documents-
Everything arrived in time and we have had a lovely holiday.

Spain was everything you said it would be -Good mix of Tour for 6 days which provided lots of detail and Information
and good hotels, mostly good meals & interesting mix of like -minded people.
Can recommend Trapsatur Tours to others.

The 3 days in Lla Franc were fantastic- Hotel La Muntanya was a very fortunate find and having a rental car for exploring was good
-loved the opportunity to swim in the sea and wander around the wee boat harbour!
Would go back there for a mediterranean holiday any time .
