On most long-haul flights Air New Zealand offer the choice of Premium Economy and Business Class with full lie flat seats. They fly to key destinations in Asia, west coast North America and London then use airline partnerships to service a multitude of destinations worldwide.
On the 777-200 and 777-300 aircraft they have the Spaceseat. Leather seats with 36 – 42 inches of legroom and width of 17 – 20 inches with more recline. If travelling as a couple choose the inner space of the cabin where the seats turn to face each other to share a meal.
The 787 Dreamliner has leather seats with a 5 inch wide armrest. 41 inches of legroom, a 9 inch recline and a 19.3 inch width.
The 777-200 and 777-400 seat has 50% more recline than economy and a leg rest and foot bar.
The 777-200, 777-300, 777-400 and 787 Dreamliner aircraft have the 22inch leather armchair with separate ottoman footrest that converts to a full lie flat 6 foot 6 inch bed. The configuration is herringbone so the window seats face inwards.
The 767-300 has a 22 inch leather recliner armchair in rows of 2 facing forward with 50 inches of legroom.
Air New Zealand is now operating three return services a week to Buenos Aires. Air New Zealand flys refitted Boeing 777-200ER aircraft on a Tuesday, Friday & Sunday. The flight from Auckland to Buenos Aires takes 11 hours and 40 minutes with the return flight taking 13 hours and 36 minutes.
