Kenya

A favoured destination with well-developed facilities. The country has a great diversity of landscapes including open savannah grasslands, the spectacular Rift Valley and snow-clad Mount Kenya. In rural areas the Maasai and Samburu tribes people co-exist harmoniously with the wildlife. Due to the proximity of the Equator, Kenya has no defined seasons. The coastal areas are tropical but tempered by monsoon winds. Nairobi has a pleasant climate throughout the year due to its altitude. The rainy season is between March and June with "short" rains during October and November.
