Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1, Delhi - Agra

Travel by road to the vibrant city of Agra. On arrival tour the city’s highlights including the celebrated Taj Mahal.

Days 2 & 3, Agra - Jaipur

Journey to Jaipur by road stopping en-route at the fabled ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri. The next day, visit Jaipur’s Amber Fort on the back of a brightly coloured elephant. In the afternoon tour Jaipur’s other sights. T(B)

Day 4, Jaipur - Mandawa

Travel north along the ancient trading route to Mandawa. Later tour this charming market town before retiring to the stunning Mandawa Castle. Overnight: Mandawa Castle. (B)

Day 5, Mandawa - Bikaner

Continue by road to the desert town of Bikaner, exploring the town’s sights and Junagarh Fort.  Overnight: Lallgarh Palace. (B)

Days 6 & 7, Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Journey by road once again to the ancient desert city of Jaisalmer. This breathtaking city is the archetypal desert destination. Take a morning tour of Jaisalmer the following day, round touring off with a sunset camel ride. Two nights: Gorbandh Palace. (B)

Days 8 & 9, Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

Travel by road to Jodhpur, the Blue City of India. The next day visit the commanding Mehrangarh Fort and wander the streets of the old bazaar before transferring to the airport for your onward flight.
One night: Ajit Bhawan Palace. (B)
