Your Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Havana
On arrival transfer to your colonial-style hotel, the Sevilla, overlooking Parque Central and only a short walk to Old Havana. Stay two nights.
Day 2: Havana
Morning tour, visiting the major sights of the city, including the historic Plaza de Armas and Cathedral Square. Absorb the atmosphere of the narrow cobblestone streets of Old Havana. Lunch will be at the famous El Patio restaurant. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Dinner is traditional Cuban cuisine.
Day 3: Havana – Trinidad
After breakfast, journey east through sugar plantations to the city of Santa Clara, the final resting place of Che Guevara. After lunch, journey through the beautiful Escambray mountains to Trinidad, one of the best preserved colonial cities in the world. Stay at the Iberostar Grand Hotel for two nights.
Day 4: Trinidad
Morning walking tour visiting the Romantic Museum, depicting the lifestyle and architectural design of Trinidad's colonial past. Enjoy traditional Cuban music at the Casa de la Trova. Lunch will be taken at the Grand Hotel.
Day 5: Trinidad – Pinar del Rio
Journey by road to Cienfuegos and a city tour. Travel to Pinar del Rio province. En-route visit Guama for a boat ride through the mangroves before arriving at Moka Hotel for three nights.
Day 6: Pinar del Rio
Today visit an orchid garden with over 250 indigenous species. Continue to the Cascadas El Salto waterfalls. Lunch is on a coffee plantation and dinner at a restaurant specialising in Cuban cuisine.
Day 7: Pinar del Rio
After breakfast, visit the famous Vinales Valley, stopping to absorb the beauty of the area. Enjoy a subterranean boat ride through El Indio limestone cave system.
Day 8: Pinar del Rio – Havana
This morning, visit the local community of Las Terrazas. After lunch, return to Havana airport or hotel, or continue to Varadero where the tour ends.
