Your Day By Day Itinerary:
Day 1 Arrive Avignon.
Allow time to visit the walled centre and the Palais des Papes (Popes’ Palace) and wander the fortifications. Attend briefing at 6pm.
Day 2 Transfer to the charming village of Bonnieux.
Walk along ridges of the Petit Luberon Mountains to Buox (6 hours)
Day 3 Transfer to Gordes, perched on the khaki-coloured cliffs of the high Vaucluse Plateau.
Time to explore this town of silk painters, weavers and potters, where houses of golden stone rise to the Renaissance chateau crowning the top. Afternoon circuit walk to the 12th century Cistercian Abbaye de Senanque. Transfer to the hamlet of Les Séguins (Buoux) (4 hours).
Day 4 Circuit walk to the small village of Sivergues high in the Luberon Mountains.
End with visit of Buoux Fort (4 hours).

Day 5 Our circuit walks takes us to the charming little village of Crestet.
Perched on a crest of the Dentelles de Montmirail facing Mont Ventoux. Continue to the ancient village of Malaucene with its’ imposing fort and ramparts.
Day 6 Vaison-la-Romaine.
Free day. Visit the not-to-be-missed 6,000-seat Roman theatre, the largest archaeological site in France plus other Gallo-Roman remains in the town. In the centre of town are the ruins of the medieval castle.
Day 7 Transfer to Seguret.
Walk to Gigondas through Cotes du Rhone vineyards (4 hours).
Day 8 In the morning transfer to Avignon.
