Choose two of the following five tours:
1) Ancient & Old Rome
Meet at Piazza Navonna to start your exploration of old Rome. Although never an emperor, Julius Caesar heralded the end of the Roman Republic and sparked the beginnings of the decadent Imperial age.
Strolling through the ruins of the ancient city, your guide will interpret this era of history visiting: Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum, Arch of Constantine and the Colosseum (cost of entry to be paid to your tour guide in cash – Euros 15 when you join the tour). The tour ends inside the Colosseum (3 hours). Operates Mon – Sat at 2 pm, Sundays 10 am
2) Vatican & St Peter’s
Fascinating 3 hour tour through the Vatican Museums and the jewel of the papal crown, St Peter’s basilica. Your guide will ‘bring to life’ the masterpieces of the ancient world, the Renaissance and the Baroque including: Sistine Chapel, Belvedere Apollo, Laocon, Benini’s Baldacchino, Michaelangelo’s Pieta.
Don't think that the Vatican is all gold and pomp and stateliness, its history is full of dark tales of deceit and even lust! You will get a taste of it all: the nitty gritty and the high and mighty, the dirty politics and the ethereal beauty of Renaissance creation. Please note that a strict dress code is enforced at St. Peter's: knees and shoulders must be covered and men must wear full-length trousers. Operates daily: Mon - Sat 9am or 1pm. Extra fee per adult for Vatican Museums. Children under 6 yeas old are free. Tour and fee to be paid in cash
3) Rome Off The Beaten Track
After you have seen the Colosseum and the Vatican, take a break from the crowds, escape the traffic and explore the backstreets of the historic centre that most tourists do not even know exist. Join us on a leisurely stroll through the Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere area, starting from Largo Argentina and the Senate House where Julius Caesar was murdered, then across Tiber Island to Campo de' Fiori, once the site of executions during the Inquisition, today, one of the city's most lively piazzas.
On this tour you will get a chance to see the hidden ancient city below the modern street level, and as Rome was not built in a day, a little bit of every time period in between, from Medieval to Renaissance to Baroque. Our knowledgeable guide is a true Rome-ophile, eager to share her enthusiasm for these parts of the city and to entertain you with the legends and secrets of Rome's most authentic neighborhoods.
Tour Duration: 3 hours

The tour leaves Rome and heads south along the the Autostrada del Sole. Halfway to Naples, we pass the Abbey of Montecassino, completely rebuilt after being destroyed in World War II.
We then pass through the countryside around Naples, before visiting the city. We stop for a visit at an old factory which makes cameos and coralwork in Torre del Greco. We then proceed to Pompeii and lunch in a restaurant near the ruins.
Pompeii was buried nineteen centuries ago when Mount Vesuvius erupted in the summer of A.D. 79. The ashes, gases, and molten rock claimed many lives, though also served to preserve the debris, offering a view of the typical Roman city at the height of the Empire.
Found in the ashes were people and everyday items, food and domestic animals, all hidden until the first half of the eighteenth century, when regular digs were organized. After the visit, we continue to Rome with arrive at hotels or nearest point at about 8:30pm.
Departs Daily: (except 25th December 1st January) at 7:15 am from terminal located on Via Piemonte 34 and returns at around 9.00 pm. Free pick-up is provided from centrally located hotels between 6.30am and 7.00am if booked in advance.
