Is Fine Travel more expensive than other full service travel agencies?

No, we operate in a very competitive marketplace and differentiate ourselves by the high quality of service we provide. We use our knowledge, experience, and the buying power of New Zealand’s biggest travel groups to deliver exceptional service at a competitive price.

Do you charge fees?

Yes. As many airlines and hotels no longer pay agency commissions, the value a travel agent adds is recognised through fees. Our professional fees will be advised at the time of quotation.

Can we pay with a credit card?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards for transactions. However, on some transactions, we will have a cash price for cheques, cash and EFTPOS, and a retail price for other forms of payment.

Do you have access to all the specials that are advertised?

Yes, we have access to virtually every special that is made available by all airlines or travel wholesalers to New Zealand travel agents. When you work with us you know you’re getting the best possible deal in the market.

Can I use my frequent flyer points?

Yes. We understand frequent flyer points can be an important part of your planned journey and are happy to discuss the best ways to use these. You can choose to redeem your points yourself, or we can make the reservation on your behalf, which may carry a charge.

Can you book travel from overseas to New Zealand?

Yes, we can book travel from most places around the world and often do. However, please bear in mind some overseas fares are only available for sale from within the country of origin.

Can you arrange itineraries for travel to New Zealand?

Yes, and we love doing so. We know our country well and have considerable expertise in crafting journeys to suit all clients. Whatever your needs are, we can help!

When is the best time to travel to where I want to go?

Whether you’re planning a hard-earned break or the family’s annual holiday, weather is an important factor to consider as it can have a big impact on the enjoyment of your trip. Talk to our consultants about when would be most suitable to travel.

What are your office hours?

We are available from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday but are also happy to meet at a time to suit outside these hours. We are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week for urgent travel and support when overseas.

Do you offer travel insurance?

Yes, we have a wide range of insurance policies to suit your specific needs and budget. These include, domestic cancellation, cost saver, full comprehensive, Golden Years and policies designed for the business traveller.

Are our deposits and monies paid for travel protected?

Yes.  Through our association with the Travel Managers Group you have the protection of IATA bonding so you can have complete confidence your investment with us is secure.
