If you are either a first time or well-seasoned traveller, I would love to help you with your travel plans.
From visiting the many aspects of Australia, to basking in the sun on a South Pacific Island, hitting the beaches and shopping in Thailand or enjoying the beauty and history of Europe (including what to do in a Police Station in Poland – another story again!), or the supposed perils of Papua New Guinea, I would love to assist.
Even with practical travel tips – eg throw a pack of cable ties in your luggage should your suitcase handles come apart – although I wouldn’t have the lovely African wirework holding my suitcase together if I had listened to my own advice!
I did enjoy my tour of Argentina and Brazil.
I have clients that travel to some of the less frequented corners of the globe. No matter which Continent you may need to visit for work or pleasure – I am happy to assist with your travel to the obscure and not so obscure destinations and find the best way to get there (and home).
Thank you very much for your greetings and indeed my trip went well. I thoroughly enjoyed it, the music in Lucerne was brilliant and I had the company of my sister there too. Bayreuth for the marathon Wagner Ring cycle etc. was tradition all the way, a stay with friends near Munich airport (at Freising) was heartwarming, and a gathering with relatives in Norway was icing on the cake.
The Etihad experience was everything I expected. I was almost tempted to bid for an update from Business to First Class but decided that $1400 (NZ) and up extra per sector – minimum – was not worth doing. They sent a couple of Emails but I did not weaken! The chauffeur service worked well. Etihad rang the hotel the day before leaving, and arrived on time.
The only hitch during the Abu Dhabi stay, destination London, was that it was so hot at the airport they had to delay boarding for an hour while they cooled the cabins down, not surprising – my taxi driver told me on the way to the airport that the temperature outside was 52 degrees!
Generally, the Etihad cabin service was spot-on. Clearly the service is appreciated by the Aussies since the flight Abu Dhabi had lots of them on board. Even first class was full. Personally I found the long corridors at airports very draining for me and I think I might call for wheel chairs in future. Guess I am old enough for that, yet I could manage walking long distances elsewhere when not under the stress of an airport. So you may hear from me next year as my sister is already talking about another Lucerne orchestral festival next August.
Many, many thanks for all that you did to make our trip a most memorable one….the breakaway was awesome and most memorable and time with family in France was so very special. Also Kirstys mum kept in good health whist we were away and required no immediate change of plans and frantic trip back to Auckland. It was just brilliant I will certainly highly recommend your services. Lufthansa premium economy is highly recommended and the service very German and very efficient. Better than AirNZ despite my Gold Elite status. Please use our reference above if required.
Thanks so very much

Just to let you know that we are back and had THE MOST fabulous Globus trip through Scandinavia and Russia through late May early June 2014. This was our second Globus trip and again we could not fault the trip. Fab tour leader – fab hotels. Have to confess we were a bit worried about Russia, we were so so wrong. Russia is amazing! Highly recommended.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Treasure was perfect for me and the boys. The snorkelling was good, (the shark- exciting!) and the food was fresh and tasty.
The staff were very attentive to the boys.
I recommend the SeaView, it’s a submersible off Bounty Island. We did a trip, and the fish viewing was amazing. Much better than a glass bottom boat.
All the transfers worked smoothly, and it was relaxing.
Hopefully we can get everyone to Vanuatu next year.
I appreciate you making all the arrangements.
Happy new year! Just to let you know that we had an amazing holiday at Trinity Beach and commented many times on how lucky we were that you had recommended that we go there. Sea Change Beachfront Apartments was a fabulous place to stay and one of the few places we have stayed that our as lovely in real life as they look on their website. They were also spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend staying there! We also loved Trinity. We had a drive around the other beaches including Palm Cove, where a lot of people had told us we should go, but we felt Trinity suited us a lot better being that bit quieter and less touristy.
We are back in Frankfurt after the end of our Central European Tour. It has been fantastic we have had many happy and some very moving moments (especially in Poland). We have seen so much and visited such wonderful cities. Cosmos were great. The Tour Director and Driver on the bus were outstanding.

I am pleased you e mailed because I forgot to tell you how Alidas trip went. She had a great time and was very well looked after by the staff of Singapore airlines and at the airport. She was allowed to wander on her own at the airport (I gave her that letter) and found it a very easy airport to navigate, with lots to do. She also got to sit in first class on one landing and really enjoyed that. It was a good experience for her independence.

We’re back! (Actually we’ve been back for a week and I’ve only just got around to getting in touch – sorry about that). It was a really lovely honeymoon; best honeymoon I’ve had 🙂 The Le Meridien resort Vanuatu is worth most of its claimed five stars – the service is extremely good, and the food at the restaurants for dinner is quite lovely. The pool area and beach are also brilliant and my favourite part was drinking a cocktail at the beach bar while watching the sun go down. The only slight negatives were that the beach bar closed at sunset, and that the paint/carpet/etc in the hotel are starting to look a little tired. The view from our room was brilliant, though – we were on the top floor looking out to Amedee Island on the horizon, and we spent a few happy hours each day sitting on our balcony drinking wine, eating bread and cheeses, and watching the kite-surfers. We did most of the tourist-type things while we were there (Amedee island, the zoo, the cultural centre, the aquarium, etc) and we will definitely go back at some point to go out to the Isle of Pines and the Loyalty Islands, and to drive around the main island to see the rest of it.

Thanks for your email – yes the trip all went very smoothly with no hiccups. The resort was fine, just as we remembered it. They obviously sorted out their problems as we and the other guests were very comfortable. We took a look at the original Aggie Greys during a visit to town and while it is very nice, it confirmed our view that we prefer the lagoon resort. No doubt we will be back there again at some stage in the not too distant future.

Yes, I had a great week in Noumea. My apartment was on the 14th floor overlooking the Baie des Citrons. I had a relaxing time – read about 6 novels. Went walking twice each day. Visited some of the great cafes and restaurants for coffee or lunch. Enjoyed fruit from the market, baguettes, macaroons, etc etc. I took my laptop but did not do any work! I hope you enjoy your leave too!
We had a ball. the Radisson was fabulous!! would recommend it to people with kids. rooms were huge, and pool was great.

Just to let you know that our travel was fantastic – thank you – we had a wonderful time in Croatia and great stopovers in Singapore and HK. In HK – where I booked myself at the airport Hotel – it was great, you simply stroll thru from the terminal into the hotel and they are very service friendly and accommodating. We were able to get a tour, with pickup from there, no problem. Extremely convenient for going from and to the terminal. Singapore was also great – they were also very friendly and permitted us to stay at the hotel extra time – to 6pm – no extra charge (as our flight was 11.30pm) and so we were able to get in two tours on two days (as we arrived early the first day. Just a thought – the seating is awfully cramped (lucky we had thin people next to us) – how much more would it have cost us if we had booked business class instead of economy ?

Just a short note to say thank you for your help in arranging our holiday. We had a fabulous time with the highlight for me, being Hong Kong Disney. Zuzanna nearly lost her voice there she was so excited. All flights were good especially Munich to Hong Kong when you booked us seats D, E & G. No one sat in F making it ideal for Zuzanna to sleep. For your information, the Hong Kong Disney Hollywood Hotel was great, I think better that the other Disney hotel. So thanks again.

Just wanted to say we have had our we sojourn to Sydney and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We saw most of the main attractions, including Manly and Bondi beaches, we set ourselves a cracking pace – poor hubby is glad to be home, just quietly! The Wyndham Vacation Resort was perfect for our needs, and very central, we did lots of walking but it was the best way to see the sights. So thank you very much for arranging it for us – I will definitely be going back sometime – perhaps for some shopping when the exchange rate is better!

Thanks for your Email. Yes, the trip was really amazing. I enjoyed the ship a lot. It was probably the best ship in the business for the job. – Owned by the Russians and used as a research ship for half the year (I think it used to be a spy ship) and chartered out to Quark for the summer season, but still crewed by Russians.
There were 19 different nationalities on board aged from 5 to 78 yrs old, probably more women than men, (not a complaint) and I met some great people. I never saw the sun on the ship, but I did see plenty of ice and penguins, and more ice and penguins.

Happy New Year. My trip went well – thanks for your very efficient service getting it organised.
I saw the Burg Khalifa in Dubai and the amazing dancing fountain in the piazza beside it – something new and impressive. But I missed the $7m dollar Christmas tree in Abu Dhabi.
My friend said it was disappointing as it was less sparkly than normal decorations and tinsel!
